COVID-19 Vaccine Information

DELTA HEALTH COVID-19 VACCINATIONS

Delta Health is offering Pfizer, Moderna and the Johnson and Johnson vaccine at primary care clinic locations. The vaccines are open to everyone. You do not have to be a patient at Delta Health’s primary care clinics and you do not have to be a resident of Delta County.

The days and times for vaccine appointments are subject to change depending on staffing and availability.

Delta Health Internal Medicine

VACCINE BOOSTER UPDATE

COVID-19 Vaccine Booster Update – COVID Boosters are now available at the three Delta Health primary care clinics:

  • Delta Health Family Medicine 555 Meeker Street, Delta, CO 81416; 970-874-5777
  • Delta Health West Elk Hotchkiss 230 E. Hotchkiss Ave, Hotchkiss, CO 81419; 970-872-1400
  • Delta Health Adult Primary 1450 Burgess Street, Delta, CO 81416; 970-874-7668

Boosters will not be administered through Delta Health – Hospital. For a list of Delta County vaccine and booster providers, go to: https://www.deltacounty.com/688/Coronavirus-19-COVID-19

Current CDC recommendations for a single-dose COVID Booster are:

  • At least 6 months (or more) from Moderna or Pfizer 2 dose series
  • At least 2 months from Johnson & Johnson vaccine for your initial dose

And

  • People aged 65 years and older
  • Residents aged 18 years and older in long-term care settings
  • Are 18 to 64 years old and at high risk of severe COVID-19
  • Are 18 to 64 years of age with frequent institutional or occupational exposure to COVID-19

The COVID-19 booster does not need to be the same kind of vaccine as the initial dose(s).

People should talk to their Health Care Provider about whether getting a booster is appropriate or if they have questions
